om this new currency system is already looking terrible. champ shards give less blue essence than before the change, you cant earn blue essence from playing, you can only earn champ shards from leveling up. if you are unlucky it can take up to 24-25 games just to level up once. my only questions are why cant we earn blue essence from playing. and why do champ shards give less blue essence than before the update. one more thing, i dont know if its just the shards you get from the level up capsule but it seems like you cant even reroll them anymore into a permanent champ. basically this is more grind for less value. correct me if im wrong

The answer is: Riot wants it to be harder to buy champions. You are not wrong.

Riot wants us to give them more money to unlock their content. Like we didn't give them enough from skins and other nonsense already.

unless they greatly increase the amount you get from champ shards or make it very to get blue essence it will take far longer to get anything than before the update which just makes things worse than before

ive been reading other posts and seen hat other people are angry because of the burst of BE rather than a steady stream. it just feels wrong to work and work and not see any differences
