So I am thinking about trying out morde

Play morde in the solo lanes. Don't disappoint the original morde mains and disgrace us by going bot!

Play some bots with him first.

Despite what others say, I think he is a great champ with a nice kit(although not perfect, but in the proper hands is VERY good) Things to know:

Mordekaiaer has one of the worst base health in the game. He has only 325 as movespeed. He attacks HELLA slow, so know when to last hit correctly. His multiplier deals the damage in MAGIC damage.

What I run: 2 Movespeed Quints, 1AP Quint. Magic pen reds, as a smart enemy will build MR, scaling health yellows to negate Morde's awful base health to an extent and have a kick ass shield late game, and AP blues.

Keystone is DFT to amplify my ult damage, huehue.

I always run ghost and flash for the needed mobility. ALWAYS

For the record, I play Morde a bit diffrent than others.

Early I normally start amp tome, a potion, and totem. I rush Nashor's tooth for the CDR, AS to get off 3 q's, and AP for damage. Be sure to try to take boots first or second back; you need the MS to dodge skill shots. Finish Nashors and swifty boots ASAP. THAN RYLIAS BECAUSE YOU NEED THE SLOW, AP FOR DAMAGE, AND HEALTH TO UP YOUR SHIELD. After that guinsoos rageblade.

You may ask, why rageblade? Mord scales with AD AND AP, so your q is super charged. Also, because your q is a supercharged AA, you get 2 AA stacks from being melee AND 1extra stack for it being an abilty. Yes, you read that right. One Q hit gives THREE stacks on Rage blade. With Nashors and Guinsoos, you attack crazy fast, and the damage scales.. So Q is even stronger each hit, and you just hit faster and faster. Funny stuff. At this point, you can take towers and kill the enemy adc solo(flip ghost, and unleash everything, huehue) Next I like Liandrys to go with my ult and DFT. Your ult damage is beautiful at this point. The last item is your choice; if there is no AP threat, i like cleaver for 40% cdr with this build, more health, phage passive, and more AD for when you AA. If there IS a MR threat, build Spirit Visage mid game for CDR, stronger heals, MR, and health.

Now your w. In duo lane, it only damages when the circles touch. Nomatter in solo or duo, you must time your deactivate damage properly, for a cunning heal. I like to last hit escaping champions with it when I can by deactivating it. Try to capitilize on your heals. Aith my build, max things about evenly, but mid game max q asap because your AS is high. Huehue, bring in the triple kills. Focus squishies and try to get ghost pets, you get stat boosts from them.

Also remeber after 6, you can even get dragon ghost. That dragon ghost will make you tanky af. Use it to zone enemies and to take/tank objectives.

Mord is all about timing, to keep up shield and to heal in tight situations. Your ult is a heal, do not forget.

Only someone who is numero uno can play Mord and be numero uno.
