Why not just give support an IP bonus? Then people would have an incentive to practice the role, learn it, and won't go into Ranked games without any experience supporting. People saving up for runes or a new champ will opt for supporting to maximize the gain, quickening queue times.
"rewards" have different value for people. Many have zero value with IP and giving IP doesnt make a role that people dont like more fun. Just like how rewards from LP on wins dont matter to a lot of morons who just troll, int or grief the team as their form of "fun"
I dont mind supporting, my 3rd role but nothing more frustrating than having some ADC that doesnt follow up on your CC or moves and just last hits only no matter what
incentivize me by giving me last pick, so I can make up for the lousy team comps that I see in bronze...
That's a very sketchy way to deal with it if you ask me. Doesn't actually address any of the problems people have.
