Diana vs. Annie (Riot please?)

I was just playing a game where I was Annie mid versus a Diana mid. We built literally the same items except she was significantly tankier and had way more burst dmg against me and my team. I really only could one shot the enemy ADC where she could one shot me, my ADC, and my support. We both built Rod of Ages, Abyssal Scepter, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Void Staff. Only difference in build was she went Sorcerer's Shoes and I went Ionian Boots. Even tho she had the same build, she was able to dish out a lot more dmg than me while taking a LOT more dmg than I could. And it's not like I wasn't fed. I went Legendary in this game. She did so much more dmg to me and was super tanky to me even tho I was way ahead of her for the majority of the game.

  1. Why do you think an Annie should out burst a Diana?

  2. So Diana could blow up your ADC (Low HP), Your Annie (Low HP), and the Support? Let me guess, the Support was a Squish Support? You could delete the ADC... who were the other Targets? If Tanks, of course you weren't going to 100-0 them.

Easy, Annie is a ranged mage, 100-0 isnt annie anymore after the rework. Only has 3 damage spell q w r. No constant dps other than tibbers. Diana is a melee mage assassin. 100-0 is a wonderful thing. Has 4 damage abilities passive q w r. Fair dps. Melee has more burst since they face tank, range is more focused on poke then burst? So its normal. Annie's e isnt as good as dianas w shield since it scales of ap and does damage as well.

She's diana. Of course she's going to do more damage to you than you can to her, she has a shield.
