champion recomendation
I suck at lanning..been playing mostly jungle,,and my lanning has suffer..i am really bad.. Something easy to play? for top lane and mid lane:P

have you considered learning support? You don't need super solid mechanical ability with many of the supports and your focus switches from killing minions and winning trades to either keeping your adc alive or locking down and beating up the enemy adc.
Can you land skill shots? If yes, try blitzcrank. If no, try Sona. Do you like building tanky? If yes, try leona. If no, try soraka.
Hey, what kind of chars do you like? Burst mages? Tanky champs? Assasins? Fighters? Marksmen? Tell me, and ill make a list on difficulty (from my experience.)
i main rengo jungle..i play mostly rengar,khazix,vi,jarvan,elise etc..alot of junglers:P..but for lanning phase..man..i suck..i started playing lissandra..i lose lane really bad..but i still make nice plays with her..love her utility..for mid i love zed,,but i can;t really carry with him,unless my team is decent.as adc,i play only jinx..but she is so weak in this meta,top i like nasus,,but minion path fcked me so hard:|..idk man,,i have enough for a new champion..i whant something cool..maybe illlao when will come out..or quinn..she seems really strong
basicly i love champions that have early levels powerspikes..jarvan 4 his level 2 power spike..vi level 3 powerspike..champs like this:P
Have you tried pantheon? He sounds like a char you might like, great laning phase for top lane. Or garen/riven. All have great lane phases, if you like the passive play style, try Nasus, he is like, FARM THE Q's for about 3/4ths of the game, then go into their base and one shot all of the towers. (Ah, just saw your comment, Just relax about the minions. Its all good :))
Illaoi looks a wee bit bad in my opinion. I think quinn is a good choice though
