I wish someone taught me to dodge sooner.

Ive been steadily climbing ever since i started using this tool. I usually dodge twice at most in any given day. Raging in champ select? - dodge Troll picks? - dodge All carry teamcomp? - dodge Playing into a teamcomp that just utterly counters ours? - dodge Im a support main and I started looking up the ADC's match history that im playing with 5+ game losing streak? - dodge First timing a champ in ranked? - dodge

This method has me sitting on a 74% winrate since i switched back to support earlier in the season. I think i'd be a higher ELO but I just dont play as many games as I used to. Dodging is a tool and the dodge penalty timers are a much better tradeoff. 5 minutes is no big deal to avoid a game that has a high chance of losing. After that second dodge, im done for the day and just wait for it to reset. Climbing is about the big picture and not individual games. I just try to get a % chance of winning based off champ select in my head and only play the games that have a good chance. I still have bad games but we all do. I still get feeders, feed, etc but by minimalizing the risk of it, i started climbing quickly. Not sure how accurate op.gg is but it shows my mmr is gold and im in silver. Before i started doing this it always told me my mmr was normal for my rank.

I'm too stubborn to do this. I'm the type of guy who wants to play into counters with trolls because it's that much better when I win.

A... are... are you telling me that success in league of legends is decided by external factors and the system is so rigged you have to play AROUND it instead of playing IN it?

Yes, dodging is a very under-utilized tool. Great post man!

the leaver buster does not reset in a day it takes months for it to reset I don't know what your talking about. and basically you just avoid anything that could be challenging for you which is gonna hurt you in the future when you actually have to play against counters instead of just dodging

Yeah, but we don't all have the patience or time for this, and we shouldnt have to do this to climb

Dodging in ranked counts as a loss (which includes a loss of LP).
