Difficulty Getting good with ryze

Hello guys :) I've been trying to get at least decent with Ryze. The thing is the end results come out ok like 6/6/20 or something but it is not those end results that bother me. The first 20 minutes i usually have 0/0/0 or 0/1/0 or 1/O/O or 0/1/1 ... you get the point then it usually gets worse for a bit and i get something like 1/4/1 and it is only in the last stage of the game, in the teamfights that i get some significant kills and especially assists!

-is this normal? -how to improve early and mid game? -is it normal for ryze to get so many assists compared to kills? -How difficult is ryze to play (maybe compare with some others)

Ryze is easy to learn, hard to master. You need to learn what to do when you proc your passive, and I'm no Ryze main, but try spamming Q-W-Q-E-Q-W-Q-E and maybe ult somewhere in there. It'll allow you to get tons of damage off on multiple enemies with your ult.

Understand that Ryze is in a pretty poor state. He's kinda gotten to the place where he is either super far ahead and does well or hes even average, like it sounds like you are, or behind and he just doesn't do well.

Basically I don't think you're doing anything wrong. But honestly I would recommend picking up a different champion to learn, and maybe if they do some changes to him pick him up again.

But that's just my opinion
