Getting tired of the inconsistency and constant BS me and other players have to put up with.

The "If you're good enough, you will climb" mentality is not true in the slightest.

I find it considerably ironic that I can climb my way up to promos or a new division in Mid Silver tier and the minute I do I'm barraged with teams of intentionally feeding goons who can't "play safe" when I calmly ask them to after the second death, and end up with K/D's like 3/9, 2/8, 2/10, 1/12, etc.

This game isn't "balanced" in the slightest sense of the word, not when one person can lose you the game but one person alone can't win you the game (unless it's a champ like fuckin' Udyr or Garen), especially not in Mid Silver tier. At one point I was Silver 3 (and according to OP GG had Silver 1 MMR, not sure how that one works either) and first game out of the gate got a Bronze ADC on my team who ended up going 3/12. Needless to say we lost.

And the new proposed Ranked Changes in 2019 are not nearly as bad of an idea as half the community is saying, however what's absolutely outrageous is the idea that Riot can deter trolling by making said trolls lose more LP. Funny, since the same penalty applies to someone who's got a losing streak in one specific lane. Rather than punish the trolls and intentional feeders, Riot decides to crack down on "toxicity".

When I've seen dozens of chat logs on the forums taken blatantly out of context by the "tribunal" and myself reprimanded earlier this season for telling my team to "report this person intentionally feeding" without having said ANY obscenities, I'm thinking maybe there's a bigger problem here. Riot doesn't stop to ask "why are these people toxic," they just throw a blanket 'No one should act like this' over certain people without considering that reactions are a thing, and when people are provoked those reactions tend to get amplified. If someone who is inting truly knows they are inting, and nothing I do or say can change that, why aren't they punished? Why have I seen these same intentional feeders in multiple of my games _days _ later? Of course there's always new ones, but I've seen several of these people multiple times, and when I look up their profiles, it's no different, they just tank losses with horrible K/Ds and get the occasional carry so they keep their rank. I think maybe twice this season I've received an Instant Feedback Report on these people, and they weren't even the ones who flat out admitted they were intentionally feeding.

I've been told that Instant Feedback Report messages aren't always shown to "prevent abuse of the report system" which makes absolutely no sense to begin with. How is it abuse to know that you helped remove a troll from the community? What kind of warped logic is that?

It makes more sense that they just don't punish these players because they can easily pass as normal, honest players just by saying "oh I'm having a bad game" every time.

Further relating to "balance", it's a bit sad when the highest win rate ADCs are Kayle and the highest win rate support is Kled, two champions that both weren't meant to fill those roles. It's also sad when more than half the viable (at or above 50% winrate) ADC champions (according to champion.gg) are not traditional Attack Damage Carry champions, some are mages (Veigar, 54%) and some are just silly (Mordekaiser, 52%).

Meanwhile, complete annihilation of bot lane meta aside, mid lane mages are still subject to being pummeled by assassins, with Kennen and Talon still in the top five for win percent in mid lane, as these past few patches kinda dethroned Fizz from his 52% winrate. And in top lane, new champions like Ornn and the reworked Swain were nerfed to oblivion and now are left to die around a 47% winrate, while one of the most viable champions costs 450 IP and has no skill-related combos whatsoever. You'd be better off just barring all 450 champs from ranked, since none of them are even remotely close to the skill required to play some of the newer champions.

But, then again, what does that matter when whichever team wins is completely dependent on whichever team has the feeder? I've had maybe one completely balanced game this season where nobody from either team fed, and it was almost a photo finish as to who won. One match, out of some odd hundreds. I can't say I see myself playing many more matches.

Shame to see a game I've played for about five years fall so far down the shitter.

  1. if youre good enough you will climb over thousands of games. The fact youre bringing up individual experiences shows you dont understand you need adequate sample size.

  2. its a team game, you arent supposed to be able to solo carry. That being said, the one person cant carry but one can lose argument is bs; if one is losong then the one on the enemy team is carrying.
