When do I splitpush?

Ask yourself these questions.

  1. If I splitpush, who is likely to come defend against me (maybe the jungler, or enemy top.)
  2. Can I fight them?
  3. Can my team avoid a 4v5? Do they have disengage, escapes, or are fed.
  4. Can my team push if I get hard collapsed on?
  5. Can I push fast?
  6. Would I be more useful in a group?

I hate when I'm a no dmg support and I'm literally forced to splitpush because I'm the only one in the team that acknowledge that while my teams is grouping mid one or two side lanes are heavily pushed in the enemy team favor

And you forgot the seventh and most important question

7 Should I back now or keep on splitpushing

No matter what if you are ADC or a mid lane carry when a side lane is pushing you should always try to make your way down there and push the lane at least back up to the river. The only time you don't detach yourself from the team is when the enemy is pushing your mid and sieging your tower. Once you pushed the lane to river you need to go back since you are risking getting caught out. To increase your chances of not getting caught out make sure your jungle is warded. Since you more than likely will be performing this split push mid to late game (lvl 9 and above) make sure your wards are upgraded so you can ward from the distance. The reason why you want your carries to split push is so they can soak up the experience in a solo lane while getting free farm. If your team engages and loses while you are split pushing it does suck and they will probably blame you for their ignorance of engaging without a carry but understand this is not your fault. Just push the wave and get back to your team as quickly as possible without making risky shortcuts through unwarded jungles.

7 . Is my team composed of a bunch of potatoes who will keep going in 4v5, lose the teamfight, then blame you for not being there as the enemy team kills your nexus.
