Just Tristana'd against a Graves and Nautilus, couldn't farm at all because all Naut had to do was walk nearby and I was already in fear of being grabbed, late-game he just ulted me and I also couldn't do shit. Any advice on dealing with this? Really frustrating support, planning on banning him from now on, but I would love advice on destroying him as well.

vayne can punish a naut, but if you play trist all you can do is jump away from the hook, so dont use jump for anything else, and keep side bushes warded.
ShuffledPancake1 votesIf you jump while he hooks it will still hook you same with blitz - note that naut's hook has a longer range then it says.
Dr Poro1 votesIf the hook hits you before you left the ground, you'll still jump away. If he catches you mid-air, your jump gets cancelled.
The command to jump is given at the end of the cast time. The game overwrites the previous commands by this one. The hook will overwrite this command if it lands afterwards, but not if it lands first.

Dr Poro1 votesIf you notice the Naut ult early, you can jump away before it reaches you so you get knocked up far away from the enemy team. If you notice it when it's already near you, you should hold on to your jump or it gets cancelled. If you have flash when this happens, you should use it. Don't be afraid of burning flash lategame early in a fight. If it keeps you alive, it is ALWAYS worth. A teamfight without an ADC is doomed to fail. And a failed teamfight often means the end of the game, or a potential comeback for the enemy if they were behind.
Sassmast3r1 votesThank you for the advice! I don't struggle as much with the ult versus just the fact that literally I CANNOT farm without being in fear of being grabbed, and then I instantly have to burn flash. Then I just have to pussy out the entire time until my jungler comes.
