Was unsure of where to post this, so I figured I'd try here first.

Hello everyone! I have an idea that I think would be great for both new players, as well as ones that simply want to gain further experience with a champion they use. So, for the past week, I've been interested in seeing other Karma supports and their strategies to see if I myself can further improve as a support Karma. However, considering how infrequently I see this champion used, it can be hard to find ranked games in which this champion is being used, especially as a support. My idea is this: Implement a way to search through the ranked games that are live (The bottom right window you see when you log in, full of challenger people and such) for specific roles/champions being played. In my case, I would search for Support/Karma, but this could pretty much apply to anything. Your guys' ideas, thoughts, etc?

The only problem (if you want to call it that,) with this, is ranked games do not require you to "pick" a roll in advance of lobby, like teambuilder. With the current system, best case scenario would be champion search, not so much the role. But, with that said, if it showed the other champions on the team, you could make best judgement if it is being played in the role you are looking for. Nice idea though, would definately like to see something like this available.

Oh, wow, I've never really played ranked so I never knew that; Figured people always chose their roles lol. Thanks for letting me know of this though :).

lolnexus has a way you can do exactly that. Heres a link directly to karma:

http://www.lolnexus.com/recent-games?filter-region=1&filter-queue-type=2&filter-rank=3&filter-champ-matchup-left=37&filter-sort=1

I think this is an awesome idea though, riot should implement it. It has enough of a demand that a 3rd party website is providing the services already, so I dont see it being a waste of time/money.

Thank you so so much for this, I never actually knew other sites did this!! This helps me so so much omg <3333. But yes, I wish this was located within client haha.

I think this is a good idea, but only if they make more games available for spectate. Also, you should try op.gg or pro builds.net for some ideas.

Thank you for the advice! And omg yes, I would love it if there were more than five games to spectate at once haha. I wish instead there was like, a list of games that you could look at, and it had the champion portraits as well as the symbol for whatever role that champion was doing next to the name of the match, and then above that there would be a "Filter match list" where you could then type the champion/role you're interested in viewing.

Their is almost this exact system on Dota 2. You can see everyones games. And you can sort it by most views or champion or even player names.

Jeez, that sounds so cool!! Hope they implement that or something like it on League!

It would be nice lol.

I'm pretty sure that would require overhauling that system. So even if they were to implement it, it wouldn't come any time soon. I'd rather see it get integrated into the replay system that we'll be getting soon(tm).

The only problem is Riot would call it Estalking like that whole spectate faker fiasco.

Spectate faker? If you don't mind me asking what that is, well... what is that?

As far as I heard, it was noted that multiple people/sites were following faker and one claimed all the rights to spectating/recording/distributing his games. Faker ended up having to choose or some such. I have no clue if my details are right, but that's all I ended up hearing. Basically, Riot is worried of "legality".

Ah I see, thanks for clearing this up. I looked it up on Google and yeah, it was saying something about Faker having given his rights to only Azubu to stream his content and there was another site doing that so they had to shut it down, and apparently it was giving Faker a bad reputation or something? Hah, well thanks for the response! :D

Basically people wanted to spectate faker's games on twitch so someone started streaming them on Twitch and Riot handled it really badly and called it estalking when they were just using the official Riot spectator system that they use to feature high level players in the client itself and got it shut down.

I agree with OP, in order to do this we need a "team builder" for ranked queues.
