Can we please have an offline mode?

Being one of the many people with connection issues, such as: absurdly high ping, unstable connection, lag, packet loss, etc, it would mean quite a lot to me if I could just play offline and not worry about the connection to your servers. I've done everything I can possibly think of to actually fix this problem and after a month and a half of trying to solve it, I'm frankly done with it. I beg of you to please make an offline server so that those of us who don't have any desire to try to fix this ludicrous problem still get the opportunity to enjoy your game. Thank you :)

They don't want people getting access to their game code making hacks more commonplace, so I don't see this happening.

Seriously, that would be their motivation not to create a game mode that would satisfy the 1/3 of the League community who can hardly stand dealing with this shitty connection to their game? They would really choose not to create an offline mode and please those of us who cannot play their actual game, because of something as stupid as hacks? Why would people who literally just want to play the game, and nothing else, waste their time with hacks? We'd be too busy dazed at the mouth-watering utopia that many take for granted; the ability to play a full game without issues! If that's seriously their reason why then that's pretty ludicrous if you ask me.

Hacking has crippled if not outright destroyed countless games over the years, I don't want to imagine what kind of shit people could come up with in League; considering they've already dealt with drophacks, elo boosting, and DDoS attacks.

Exactly this. It'd make it too easy to give yourself RP and IP. It would seriously be their motivation, as I can guarantee you a LARGE part of the community would take advantage of it. I've also seen it over the years. It's mostly a multi-player game, sorry about your connection issues, but you're either going to have to deal with it or not play it at all.

Anyways, sorry if I phrased that so rudely; I was in a bad mood so I tend to sound much ruder and for that I'm sincerely sorry. I didn't actually think about what you said all the way through because I was tired and... well not thinking. My question is this; couldn't they somehow conceal that code though? You know, so people couldn't hack into it?

They could, but it wouldn't do anything. People who want to hack the game are not going to have some concealment get in their way.

Dota 2 has offline mode with competent bots so I don't see why League couldn't

Dude, the bots are super scary in Dota tho. Worse, they focus you so hard in team fights.

What exactly would you do with anoff-line server exactly just play with yourself in custom mode ? Off-line mode by the very nature of its name means that you're not playing with anyone

Also Bots, since they dont have internet, you can make your team and theirs, and just play to better yourself with some enemy prescence. I personally go to custom games to try to solo the jungle, so doing the same thing withought needing internet is good, since i also suffer from lag spikes. And since the "Hard" lvl bots are actually pretty good, at least 1 or 2 of them will always be fed, because top lane will be 2 on 1 since you jg

and you could practice dodging skillshots. they might even be able to make super hard bots (but not doombots)

honestly, intermediate bots have perfect mechanics. the problem is they dont think. they are guided by a limited set of parameters that are hilariously easy to abuse.

Yes, I know what offline mode means. I am beyond caring as to whether or not I'm facing opponents that are real, or fake, or in fact, are even there. I would gladly play a game or two without worrying about DCing or Ping issues in exchange for having no opponent, no mission, no goal. I just want to play a decent game of League of Legends for once. But alas, ever since that dreadful day (September 16, 2015)... I've had connection issues of all sorts and none of them can be resolved. My ISP is incompetent and not only that, but they also only can come over to my house and try to fix the problem while I'm in school, therefore rendering it impossible for me to actually show them exactly the frustration I experience daily with this ratchet-ass connection to Riot's servers. Riot Help and Support has no clue what my issue is either, as I sent them a ticket at the beginning of this month, and yet it is still open, the "Tech Expert" and I exchanging logs back and forth everyday, being told that my problem is because of... whatever the fuck they think it is... It's frustrating. So yeah, at this point, I could not give a rats-ass if I was playing by myself or with other bots or with real people, can I please just play the game?

You know, I genuinely could not even care less about how intelligent the bots are; I seriously just want to play this damn game without a connection. I'm sick and Phreaking (:D) tired of trying to fix an unsolvable problem. I just want to play this game, just once. But no, I can't even get that. I can't bypass my shitty connection. And the worst part is, the solution to my problem is non-existent unless I keep waiting until I'm 18 and can live in town, where I'm not on unreliable satellite internet that literally _cannot _handle League of Legends apparent

They don't want to do this because that would require putting a fair amount of the game code on the user's machine and would make it easier to hack the game.
