I been playing and I did well for most of them but since my mrr is so low, I get match against good player while my team are not that good. I do decent and get a few kill until the rest of the enemy team start snowballing super hard. So i was just wondering is there any way for me to get to bronze 5 fast so I could re climb so I won't keep losing due to my mmr? I don't know if it will work but at this stage I will end up in bronze 5 in a few month.
well mmr is fixable if you keep playing and doing well, and i dont recommend going to bronze 5 cuz thats the defninton of elo hell and theres so many players who are terrible at the game down there. to anwser your question tho their is no fast way to get to b5 except for intentionally losing which is reportable so i guess youd have to throw desrectly? but honestly the best thing you could do is keep playing, getting better, and winning games
The effect of a low mmr is not to get matched against good players. A low mmr means you get matched with/against bad players.
Since negativity bias is a thing, you'll find it only feels worse the lower you go, since while opponents teams and your own teams will be on average equally awful, the times your own team is awful will stand out more and more.
If you lose >50% of your games, your mmr will continue to drop and you'll slowly but surely inch towards bronze 5. But then you'll need to win a comparable amount of games as you'd need to lose to get there in order to get your mmr back to where it is currently, and you'd have just wasted a few months to achieve nothing. It makes far more sense to just do your best to win and get your mmr up to a level that is consistent with your skill level, and roll with whatever rank that is. You were apparently gold last season, so you should be above bronze level at the very least.
