Carrying people in silver

So I made a new account with the intention of maining Morgana (hence the name). My other accounts were high gold low plat. This is my first time being in silver in quite a few seasons.

From what I'm noticing it is nearly impossible to carry as Morgana. In the majority of games I play I'm the top damage done even when I'm support Morgana. Yes, that's right. In silver supports can easily do double the damage of silver players. How do you carry that?

Another thing I notice is that people in silver feed uncontrollably and never stop typing. I had to edit a game file to remove my chatbox because silver chat is the most idiotic thing I've ever seen in my life. A typical game in silver consists of every lane feeding out of control.

Take my last game for example. I was Morgana mid. Within 30 seconds I had the enemy mid down to 10% hp with just tormented soil and auto attacks. SIlvers are so bad they can't even move out of tormented soil. Meanwhile, by 5 minutes in bot lane has died 4 times and top lane has died 3 times. How do I carry that?

Fast forward to mid game and I'm 1 shotting pretty much everyone on their team as Morgana. Except the enemy fiora who now has 15 kills and a ton of farm. Perhaps if I was a challenger Morgana I could have out dueled Fiora as Morgana. Sadly, I'm only gold/plat.

So is Morgana just not suitable to carry kids like this in silver? Should I pick somebody with a ton of mobility and burst like Katarina, Zed, or Leblanc? This game is a completely different meta in silver.
