Solo Queue Experiment
Riot, you have the code to do this overnight. Why don't you make an experiment; allow the Solo Queue Only option of rank and lets see what happens?
There can only be two options to arise out of this, none of which would damage the current system at all.

You will be informed by the players themselves that this IS what the majority wants, via the volume of players that would switch over to Solo Queue Only.

These players that switch over will realize themselves, and then accept, that DQ IS what the majority want, via their long queue times due to the lack of players to match with.
The trial period can be 1 month.
This is a FAIR way of showing which system the community favors and therefore if "Solo Queue Only" should be implemented permanently.
