Too much has changed, and not for the better. A few of my go-to champs are unplayable right now, and in this meta I'm finding I just don't want to hop in and play for hours.
I played a SHIT ton in season 5, loved it. Just not feeling this AT ALL..
Pretty much the same for me. I've played some, but the desire to jump in and throw down is absent. I find myself just wanting to do something other than League. :(

This means after Multiple failures and I mean multiple you start firing balancing team members.
The games snowballs fast or smth like this personally I don't like that. The feel when Yasuo or Tryndamere can get 100% crit with 2 items and carry the game fully that's really unenjoyable also stupid and annoying.
i dont understand the marksmen buffs. the changes to their kits, yes. but the buffs were uncalled for. they were never in a weak position to begin with, to warrant any buffs.
i mean at least with the juggernauts they barely even existed for years, and were weak enough from the start to warrant some overall buffs. and what they mostly got were power shifts. they got nerfed in a lot of places to compensate for their stronger lategame.
all of their base stats got reduced, they heavily nerfed their early game and their kits in some places to make them stronger than before under very specific conditions.
as far as ive seen marksmen havent received any compensation nerfs at all. just straight up buffs at all phases of the game to a class of champions that is already strong enough to be mandatory to the game for 5 goddamn years. they never completely vanished like tanks or assassins or mages or bruisers did throughout the seasons. they were always strong enough to warrant 2 marksmen in every single game.
i mean whats the goal here with these buffs? making marksmen be able to 1v1 assassins? just completely overtune them to compensate for the lack of skill in bronze and silver, so they can just sit in place with these champions and tank their assailants with 50% lifesteal?
why buff them at all, if some of them even needed nerfs?
I normaly do not bash riot for their choices. But this has made me not want to play league and I play nearly every day. I just can't stomach it, it's like playing heroes of the storm no thank you.
I also detest being used a test realm participant. They rushed out the patch to use the main server as a larger test realm.
With the tower changes, laning phase is short, and a steam roll for the early powered team. They can steam roll the first two towers in under 10 minutes. With the minion changes it'll be even worse.
Every game I've played has been a face roll for the team in the lead. Every game I've played has been 20 minutes or less, game happens to fast. You might as well take early gamers and just steam roll the game.
Anyway that's my two sense. So I'm going to play starcraft legacy of the void and starwars battle front in a few days.
I might check league out in a week or two if they fix this. Otherwise I'll maybe check it in a month or so.
But I feel they are pushing out to much to fast. It's very sloppy it's very good way to turn off your fan base for the stupid pro scene....... But that's my two sense. Games just no fun at the moment.
Why does it have to be like this, patch after patch? Why do they insist on pushing change for the sake of change? When the game is in a good state, and the community generally approves, just fucking leave it alone. Makes me mad..
This patch sucked the fun out of playing.

The new ADCs are insanely out of whack in balance
My first game of the new patch we went up against a 3 adc, 2 support comp. (Vayne, Graves, Cait, Nami, Soraka) who absolutely obliterated our very well balanced team.
As well as some of my favorite champions are virtually unusable with the new changes.
I play a game and it just isn't fun. It isn't enjoyable, and I find myself sitting there thinking why am I even on League of Legends. I have no desire to re-que. And honestly find myself questioning whether or not i really want to wait around for this to be fixed. If it even will be fixed.
Likely going to take some time away from League of Legends.

I'm taking a break from League and I'm not sure I'll come back even for Dragon Tamer Tristana. This is miserable, thank you so much for ignoring all feedback Riot. Just want to push your vision for how the game should be played and force us to conform to the way you want us to play? No thanks.
I've uninstalled entirely and picked up Borderlands 2. I'll come back if/when they roll back most of these horrible decisions.

Yeah, I'm taking a break from League of Legends until they get this garbage patch sorted out. Right now, the game is just no fun to play. Everyone that feels that way should put their money where their mouth is - stop playing LoL for a while, and DEFINITELY stop buying RP or purchasing things from Riot. If enough people vote with their wallets, they'll get the message.

last season's pre-season wasn't bad in comparison because not only did it only screw over a few people but there was only about 1 champion that was extremely overbearing which was Warwick. Now there is too many to ban, an entire archtype that was completely gutted (mages) and any AD that can abuse the new masteries/items are extremely OP(which are a whole lot of champions). Throw changes out to see what stick are all well and good but i do not have a whole lot of faith in riot to fix every problem especially when these mage nerfs went out for absolutely no reason what so ever.
You guys can try to defend Riot all you want trying to say that its just the first week of the preseason, but in reality, its not. All these changes were on the PBE for weeks, and the majority of the PBE told them that these were bad ideas or that stuff was too strong, and Riot ignored us. They were told the Juggernauts patch was too strong, and they ignored us then too. Riot does not give a damn about balance, not since they hired ghostcrawler as a lead game designer. His motto for balance when he was on WoW was to buff stuff to ridiculous levels and nerf others for no reason just to see what would happen, which he's obviously continued. League has been going down for a while, but the atrociousness of this patch is making more people jump ship than I've ever seen.
Yea, I completely agree. I play a game and realize, I have to deal with yasuo, tryndamere, graves, corki, mf, jax, irelia. Dying once means losing my tower and the game snowballing out of control. Dragon's don't matter anymore, and game is always over before 15 minutes, comebacks are almost impossible because the turrets are so weak. Don't feel like playing anymore tbh.
It used to be a game that i came to play just to relax, now its one of those games that make me tilt to unbelievable ends

I like how people are "it's the first patch". Sure. It isn't like we don't have a place were we could test things and see, clear as daylight, something is really really broken. I think rioters don't even inside test most of the changes. "Wow cheap crit stats, more RGN in the game, something EVERY ONE HATES because the game is now a gambling machine, what could go wrong with tryndamere/yasuo? =D".
It is a sad thing to think they have a balance team that every 10~20 patches has to hot fix something in the game. Not game breaking bugs, but balances team brain farts or they wait weeks something running wild at 60% win rate.
Now we have a lot of champions at 57~55% win rate. What a mess.
Yea I loved every single minute of Season 5...I enjoyed the gameplay and game balanced...I would requeue over and over. This new patch was a complete 180. I have no desire to play at all. I don't like the new masteries or items. ADCs are ridiculous. AP and Tank are near worthless and the entire game is a faceroll fest without any strategy. I thoroughly enjoy 40 minute games because of the strategy involved. Now its just whoever has more crit in their kit.
Please just revert this entire patch and start from scratch.
The even worse part is that one of the ways to deal with an all ADC comp, picking Sivir and using the move speed to get in their face, doesn't really work anymore because Sivir got nerfed to shit.
Oh, and also because Graves is stronger in melee than most melee champions.
This game is honestly not fun to me anymore. I mainly play bot lane and if you get down at all, and I mean literally at all now, you can't do anything in any of the games I've played. I literally spend my entire matches running for my life because if I even stop to auto attack at all I just die to someone that's super fed in the span of about 1 second. If I do manage to get ahead then we usually just stomp them into the ground, but the new changes don't favor the ADCs that I like - like Sivir and Jinx. I don't really play much Lucian, Graves, or Tristana, although I'm trying to learn Tristana.
To make matters worse with the new ward durations being 60 seconds it's really hard to keep vision up now without a coordinated team effort which even at gold no one has. So the maps usually dark and if you try to extend at all, you get jumped by someone super farmed or teleport collapsed on and immediately kill. You can no longer contest objectives anymore if your team is behind at all because you just immediately die.
I've played this game for 3 years and I don't think I have ever seen such an absolute failure of a preseason patch. They are trying to make a bunch of changes that just simply put didn't need to be made. I'm all for some tweaks and some changes and what not but they didn't need this magnitude of changes to be made for no reason at all.
You see the same champs every game now. Yasuo, Tryndamere, Leona, Tristana, Lucian, Graves, Miss Fortune, and probably a few more I'm not remembering and all they do is dive you as hard as possible and burst you into nothing because if you get locked down even for a millisecond the damage is so high you are just dead.
Maybe I haven't figured this patch out or I'm just not playing the OP champs right now but it's literally the least fun I've had playing League in 3 years. I'm a gold player so I know I'm not amazing but I'm not terrible either but these changes just aren't working for me. My strengths as a player were always good vision control and knowing how to play safely and from behind if needed. and I was pretty good at poking/trading in lane and I feel like it's impossible to do these things now with how hard it is to keep vision up and how quickly towers die, and how quickly you die if you fall behind at all.
Anyways that's my piece. I think I'm done with this game for awhile until some more changes come through. Not trying to insult anyone that likes the changes but this simply isn't fun to me anymore. I don't play a game to spend the rest of it running for my life. Last game the Xin Zhao got slighty ahead and was chunking me for literally 60-70% of my HP in one auto attack and caught me as Sivir through my ult, a flash, and a heal spell. Not sure how to do anything at that point.

The games feel bad for me because its just about snowball, towers fall so easily and theres no real decision making other than fight fight fight Sure I love fighting but after you win or lose it becomes incredibly one sided

I understand that change is good and all, but I honestly felt like this was just a giant joke when it was first released. I can have a 4 second cooldown on my E as fizz (damn near close to urf CD's)... A deathfire grasp slot for Swain/Malzahar to DoT you to death... The ridiculous ADC buffs. 100% crit to yasuo with two items?
Didn't they nerf shiv and IE SPIECIFICALLY for yasuo? Why with the buff? Having your turret 4 shot at the 25 minute mark? The constant 15 minute games? 50 armor pen acquirable (not including LW or BC)
I thought this patch was just a joke that they'd revert back to at the end of the week. Nope. This game has gone to shit since they started focusing on the pro play aspect of the game instead of the average player.
For the last year I've been unable to stand playing on the rift due to riot's incompetence at the average player's champ select. They know who's broken, they know who's continued to be broken and they don't really care. I'll just continue sticking to custom ABAM'S and arams, since it's obvious riot doesn't really want to fix the rift.
Even "Best Poppy NA" doesn't play poppy anymore. GG riot

The only reason why I started playing the game SMITE instead of league is because of mana potions removed... Hell no im not using ALL my starting game money to buy 500 gold worth of a mana and health pot.. what if i jsut need mana and no health? like what the fuck riot biggest mistake
