Afk players in ranked, not being able to remake.

I played a game of ranked and a Karma player (Summoner name : Nutcracko Bro ) went afk the entire game. We did not have the option to remake because apparently he was still connected (he wasn't). We continued to loose the game because it was 4v5. I want to know if we get any compensation for this. We actually managed to win 2 or 3 fights in a row so we had some hope, and it got us all really mad when we lost the last fight because we had it 4v5 and we never got the option to vote for a remake. So do we get the lp we lost back because of this error or anything if the player gets punished? Ranked is meant to be fair and competitive, and us loosing because of an afk player and not getting the option to remake just ruins it.
