Riot Rumble for all players?

After reading the changes coming for season 7 I had a thought. What if instead of flex queue, Riot added a tournament style mode similar to LCS for all players that had 5 man teams. You could play ranked 5s through the week but had the tournament mode on weekends and let the teams that play each other find a time that they could all meet up in a custom game and play.

For context I'm an ex sc2 player and used to play in some online tournaments, I always thought they were a lot of fun!
