What was old poppy like? My main question is, what did her ult do? I cant find anything about it and I can't find any gameplay of old poppy, only when her rework came out. I just wanna know more about league of the past since I started like mid-end of s5.

[Passive] Valiant Fighter: When low on health, She gained 50% Damage reduction [Q] Devastating Blow: Upon activation, Poppy's next basic attack is enhanced to deal magic damage that had an AD scaling, AP Scaling & also scaled off of the Targets Max HP (it also was used as an Auto Attack reset) [W] Paragon of Demacia: (Passively) Poppy gains bonus attack damage and bonus armor for every time she deals or takes damage, stacking up to 10 times. Upon Activation, Poppy gains maximum stacks on this ability and gets bonus movement speed. [E] Heroic Charge: This ability was kept just as it was. [R] Diplomatic Immunity: This ability was a meme for a while. She could target anyone on the enemy team, essentially NO ONE could touch her except who she targeted. Only person who could damage or CC her would be her target.
I actually recorded a Match back before her Rework, which is one of the reasons why I remember her old Kit so vividly.

While this is basically right, it doesn't nearly capture the ridiculousness of her passive.
Her ult is almost laughable compared to how busted her passive was.
The exact way it works: Any damage she received that was over 10% of her current health was reduced by 50%.
That is to say that if Poppy had 1000 health, and took a Veigar ult for 1500 damage, she would only actually take 100 + (1400 / 2) = 800 damage
Deceptively tanky doesn't even begin to describe how busted it was
Vhan87651 votesShe used to chose a select target and from there was unable to receive any damage from any champion other then the champion she selected. Upon killing said champion, the buff would go away.
So imagine an offensive Kayle ult basically.

you use to be able to play her support (take ghost ignite) and no one knew how to fight her because no one played her and i would get first blood almost every game at level 2 you get a wall stun aa q aa and ignite someone was dead, proceed to get a triforce by about 11-12 mins and kill their ad for free all game, ohh and you got free tower dives from level 6, if you get ganked just ult the sup or jungler and leave no one will be able to kill you. also if you attack the person you ult you got like 25% bonus damage to them and it scales every level of r, also it applied to ignite damage, it was probably the most fun you could have in bot lane. it played a lot like leona but you just become an unstoppable anticarry after lane phase instead of a cc machine.

Poppy's old ult, Diplomatic Immunity, was a targetted spell that applied a mark to a champion. Poppy did increased damage to the target, and was immune to damage from other targets. 6/7/8 second duration, 20/30/40% damage amp.
This enabled the melee carry/assassin playstyle that old Poppy was known for. Her ult allowed her to ignore the damage of four members of the enemy team in a fight. You wouldn't always just ult the person you wanted to kill - sometimes it was optimal to ult someone like a Soraka, who can't hope to kill you, so that their ADC or mid laner is helpless to fight back.

Scrub ass Yasuo player oneshotting yout team? Ult the support for damage immunity and wreck him.
Enemy team has 5 snares and 10 stuns? Pop an ult off on their support and charge in and you can soak up all that cc free of damage.
800 stack nasus Qing your shit? Lul. Alt thier support and wreck him with that almighty % damage on your Q.
Old poppy was so amazing because she was so anti bullshit. Something the game is full of. She could counter most frustersting team comps but that in itself made her bullshit.
I would love to have her back.

Now league is all I enjoy playing

Passive: 50% damage reduction when low health.
Q: Empowered AA.
W Passive: Bonus AD & Armor, which stacks up to 10 times if she takes damage. W Active: Instantly grants 10 stacks of bonus AD & Armor, and grants movement speed boost.
E: Exactly the same as current.
R: Deals increased damage to selected enemy, while the other 4 enemies will deal 0 damage & CC to you.
