Anybody know how slow reductions stack?

This question came to mind after I had a game against a Hecarim as Zilean.

He had: Swiftness mastery (15%), Boots of Swiftness (25%), Elixer of Iron (25%)

I gave him the 99% slow, but it felt like Hecarim got slowed about as much as a regular champion being hit by Karma's regular Q, and that's just a 25% slow!

There's also the question of how does slow reduction interact with movespeed slow soft/hard caps. You don't find THESE answers on the league wiki.

Therefore, these questions need to be answered:

1. Are slow reductions additive or multiplicative with other slow reductions?

2. How does slow reduction interact with the soft/hard caps to movespeed slows?

Slows do not stack as of an earlier patch. The strongest one will take priority.

Base movement speed cannot go below a certain threshold. (110 I believe.)

Really? I'm pretty sure Nasus' slow drops some champs below 110 ms. I'm not arguing, as I really don't know for sure, but I think some slows can drop you below 110.

They could drop below 110, but after a certain number the remaining amount of the slow is diminished, so if you drop under I think ~150 and still have 40% slow left to go, that remaining 40% gets reduced, and I think there was a second threshold as well where it was further reduced, the same works with movement speed buffs, over a certain amount you get less benefit. I had a chart with the different slow amounts somewhere, I'll try to post it if I can find it. With the recent patch the threshold might effectively be 110 though given champion base move speed and a max of 99% slow.
