It is a Jhinku. Similar to a Haiku, but perfected. A poem of 4 lines with 4 words each is an entirely different art style, and doesn't represent Jhin's Ionian background as well (Ionia being the Oriental region in Runeterra, and Haikus originating from the Orient).

Anyone else disappointed in the update? I wasn't expecting a ton (cause its not a full rework) but definitely expecting a new ability or something. From what ive seen of this rework, they changed up spell costs, buffed various aspects of his spells and nerfed some, and then added on to his passive. Maybe this will help him become decent in game, but unless this new Blood Rush passive is amazing, I still dont see a reason to even play him.

I was really hoping for Aatrox to get the same love as Ali, where he'd get a new ability to synergize with his kit. Who knows, maybe im horribly off on this.

They haven't taken him off their priority list, he'll still get his minirework. :)

Just amplifying this. These changes are intended to mitigate a few game health issues while getting him into a more playable state for the short term. We still believe he needs a serious rework.

That's a question I'm asking myself actually... Don't you put too much emphasis into VGU lately ? I mean those Aatrox changes are quite huge, and will probably fix 90% of his current problems, so why still wanting to shake things up later on ? Is it for a thematic perspectives, or cause you think his skills set are too blend ?

Some champion you "reworked" on class update were changed and didn't quite hit the mark, is it really beneficial for a champion to be part of those changes ?

Cho'gath changes will be very impactful, and those Aatrox changes will also, those kind of rework are way healthier.

You should take an effort to actually read before you go off in all caps

Aatrox is getting another kit update in the future. None of his visuals, save for maybe a new ability, will change, he isn't going to be completely redone.

Riot said they won't be doing anything else but VGU, so if his entire kit gets reworked he will get a VGU. The last champion to just get a GU was...oh...RYZE....2 years ago. And before that Zilean. The only "gameplay only updates" they do now is part of a class rework like juggernaut, mages, adc etc.

Your probably not going to reply to this, but whats the reason for the w heal changes, everything else in the concept of the kit is fine, but i feel like it takes away from why people used to play aatrox, a high sustain bruiser that was hilariously fun managing his w procs as the heal was fun to use and could heal for amazing amounts. Now i feel like your trying to force him into a tank role with the heal under 50% hp removed and it scaling on health. It feels like you are taking away the primary reason which people would play aatrox even though he was weak and trying to force him into a tank instead of the bruiser he was. So are these changes fixed or is there still a chance the heal and other aspects of his kit can be altered.?

A fix? It literally makes his problems worse. Is the person who decided that Edge of Night okay the same person making these changes?

You gutted his healing, which was why he didnt have good defenses, and yet he was given nothing...no blocks, parries, bonus resistances etc like so many other (nearly ALL of them actually) have. If you want to enjoy the higher lifesteal above 50 percent health compared to the old lifesteal, then you aer giving up doing bonus damage, which was also nerfed.

In 2 years of posting and reading posts, no one was asking Aatrox to do more damage on his dive. And no one wanted his E to stop doing magic damage. Its okay for Camille Irelia Warwick Jax to do physical damage, magic damage and % health damage in some combination, but its not okay for Aatrox. Good lord.
