Frozen Mallet nerf
Frozen mallet is just too strong right now. The amount it slows along with the amount of health it gives make it way too strong. It offers way too much utility. It is also extremely broken on some champions. I just played a game against a Kalista and she was pretty bad early game. Late game though there was nothing my team could do. She just permanently slowed us and kited us and got them a free win. Another champion it is broken on is Darius. He can auto attack you forever and there is no way to escape. After 5 attacks, he is just gonna true damage ultimate you and RIP other champion.
Edit: Let's compare frozen mallet with the recently nerfed rylais crystal scepter. Rylais gives 300 health and 75 AP, and gives a 20% slow for 1 second. Frozen mallet gives 700 health and 30 AD, and gives melee champions a 40% slow for 1.5 seconds and a 30% slow for ranged champions. So frozen mallet has double the health and have the damage.
Frozen mallet slows more for longer. This makes little sense when most AP champions can't spam abilities every .5 seconds and ADC's attack 2+ times per second. You are being permanently slowed by a champion by 30% or more every second. The only way to escape would be CC, but CC doesn't help against Kalista, Master Yi, or Yasuo.
Even swiftness boots don't counter the permanent slow from frozen mallet. Instead of the 30% slow Kalista would get, it would be a 22.5% slow. That still makes it a permanent slow and it is still higher than Rylais.
GNAR!
and
brings eh? But seriously, the item fits the current bs that tank pudging works, by using high amounts of health to shrug off blows, to where even non-tanks/fighters will take advantage of it.
, are able to make use of less commonly touched items, like
and make incredible use of it since they fit the 'off the norm style' or 'flexible' builds that let them make full use of Frozen Mallet's high hp for sustain and usually a gimmick in their kit to take advantage of the effect better and care little on the low AD amount, even when it was 'changed' a while back to prevent some abuse with it a while back.
