Instead of nerfing XP on Jungle Camps to decrease their impact on lanes, what about increasing the health of camps or overall increasing the camp's resistances so junglers end up lower health? Jungle camp damage can be adjusted accordingly.

This impacts their ganking presence in two ways - it makes it riskier to gank a lane at low health, which is compensated by the fact that you can set a laner so far behind in 1 gank, and you force junglers to stay longer in the jungle.

Damage heavy junglers are also squishier, so they won't be able to impact lanes with their high base damage + rune damage if camps make them low enough. There was the old concern that junglers hit 3 before their laners in the past seasons, this would slow down their tempo, but also allow for non-spam ganking junglers to not be punished by their laners getting murked by the Lee Sin or Sejuani. This allows for more off-meta picks as well.

Again, I'm not a jungle main, just a laner who doesn't want to see junglers get screwed over by changes, but also doesn't want to lose lane because of jungle presence so early on. I'm interested in hearing ur opinions, including the "eat dog poop" or "that's stupid" with no context or attempt to suggest an alternative.

This would just reduce the viable jungle pool to ~8 champions, all of which would be the ones that are currently the strongest, and anything but the top would no longer be able to even clear the jungle.

This is how the jungle was in past seasons; you'd normally have to recall after your first clear (if you can even finish it)

Even more of a reason to not spend time taking camps and chain gank instead.

A lot of jungles already struggle to clear, or their clears aren't healthy, even with smite heal and the jungle items. i.e. Udyr's chicken clears cost 40-60% of his max health unless he has Tiamat or a point in Phoenix (which is not a good thing to do).

Camp damage would have to be reduced to even out the longer time it takes to clear, but then you're also just increasing the window for invasions, which is arguably even worse, because the hyper aggressive jungles are the only ones that can really invade.

How about just making wards last longer or giving laners more trinkets?

This would end up only making the differenc between the 2 junglers even more bigger. Red should be nerfed thats it, it has too much power for gankers it should give buff for better jungling or something but red as it stands now is the epitome of the problem. Take a lv2 ganker champ-------take red------aim the nearest lane gank it kill the laner or burn its flash---------go take 1 camp or scutle gank the same lane again. These guys will never focus on farming that much the plain and simple thing would have been nerfing the gankers than nerf the jungle all around maybe.

Cuz the gankers are untuched and still needs a nerf......
