Mastery's level 6 an 7 on games other than normals

So I'm a player that doesn't get on much, but when I do, I find that I do much better on game modes such as ARAM or the RGM's on the weekends. I rarely get S grades in normals and so I can't move much past level 5 mastery with my favorite champs. It'd be nice if I could, but I can't, so should Mastery tokens be won in RGM's too or should I just GIT GUD!? (not asking for it in ARAM though)

Getting an S into RGM is not really showing your skill with the champion, as the RGM always skew the rules of the game a little bit (or quite a fucking lot, like URF).
