So I tried Ivern in new season...
I felt like a wandering minnion, what am I even supposed to do...Gonna try him as support with smite now and piss off enemy JG.

With the current state of jg ivern is probably the worst jg in the entire game.
Just say you're doing your best and smile real hard.
I considered playing him support with unsealed spell book, starting smite/teleport, then trying to get a ward in to find out where their jungle started, so I could snatch the other buff and teleport to bot tower. Giving myself a fast level 2, an advantage in lane, and screwing over their jungle, all at the same time.
I've been trying to play Ivern support FOREVER because he's just such a funny and weird champ, but he feels SO WEAK. What should I build and what should I do to make him relevant? I definitely want to focus on messing with the enemy; bush tricks, poking, sneaking into the enemy jungle and smiting down their camps, etc. Any advice?
You need to use Candy King Ivern to even be good with him tbh.
There's no problem with starting a jungle item because the support item is gold capped.
People keep forgetting this.
Even starting corrupting pot and buying support item first back is viable on tank supports.
