Mastery 7 means nothing if you are silver or bronze
I'm getting ready for the downvotes
I'm getting ready for the downvotes
And you felt like sharing this because?
What was the point of this post? Of course it means nothing. All it does is show that you played the champ a lot.
People whine a lot about not getting an S but everyone of those who whine are always either silver 5 or bronze.
Wow. That's a big generalization.
I always open the op.gg whenever one of the threads "Why I didn't get a S, I want my mastery token" appears and they are silver 3, silver 5, bronze 2, bronze 4" always.
Looking at OP.GG you'll see there's a 70% chance that they'll be Bronze/Silver if they're ranked at all. 70% of all posts by ranked players should statistically be made by a Bronze/Silver player.
The difference between Silver and Gold is 2-3 games. Don't think you're not in low elo until you're halfway through Plat at least.
I know my elo is bad, but I don't make threads whining about not getting an S nor I care about mastery 7. Also most people I've seen in ranked with mastery 7 end up feeding.
I know my elo is bad, but I don't make threads whining about not getting an S** nor I care about mastery 7.** Also most people I've seen in ranked with mastery 7 end up feeding.
Yet you post a discussion thread about it...
I don't care about mastery 7, I care about the lil kids whining about it tho.
Okay. Why?
What's life without the little things to care about?
He cares about their whining enough to make a post to whine about their whining. I think he just wants to fit in with the whiners.
I've never thought about it that way... maybe my whole life has been a lie...
XD
tbh im bronze i only want the boxes so i could get new champs
Mastery 7 means exactly the same thing if you are Silver of Challenger, that is to say: not much.
It simply means that you play this champ far better than the average player from your ELO. You should be just as scared by a Mastery 7 player in Bronze as you would be in Challenger, because both got their level 7 by getting good grades against people of the same skill level as themselves. Marginally, you should be more scared in Bronze, because when you are already at the bottom of the ladder, you can't cheat it. Whereas if you are higher up, your Normals MMR is often lower than your Ranked MMR, and so you can get your mastery tokens more easily by playing Normals instead of Ranked. I know that's what I did for Mordekaiser.
Or as many people have done it, they get it on URF or any other rotation mode that gives Mastery tokens. So yes you kinda can cheat it.
Also I've been against mastery 7 many times and made no difference. Bronze and Silver players can't just compare to Gold or Plat players, even if we are all inexperienced, bronzes are just a lost cause and silvers cant compete against higher ranks
Yeah, if you go against people from lower ELO than yourself, you win. Big surprise. That doesn't change the fact that if they have a mastery level 7, they still play that champ far better than other people at the same ELO. That's not enough to compensate a difference in Ranking, but that means exactly the same thing as for people in higher ELO: they play that champ better than the average person from the same ELO.
And RGM Queue doesn't give Mastery tokens. Your information is false.

Champion Mastery is available in all matchmaking queues up to Mastery Level 5: Summoner's Rift normal (blind/draft), ranked queues, ARAM and all rotating game modes. However, you can only earn Mastery Level 6 & 7 tokens in Summoner's Rift normal and ranked games.
Idk about that post. But you can indeed get it from URF, its how my homies got their lvl 6 masteries.
It was bugged a few weeks ago, and was corrected since then. It was in the patch notes. It's not possible anymore.
actually no they got rid of that a while ago, you can ONLY get tokens on SR. i got like 1 token from urf a while ago for Sona, the rest i got legitimately by playing the game and being good.
At least you were ready.
The main attraction for it is to show you actually played the champion enough for ranked. Beats an person playing one with no rank.
That's Mastery 5, not Mastery 7
you sure showed them
And does mastery 7 mean anything if you're plat or diamond?
mastery doesn't mean shit period lmfao
