Did the balance team kill Lulu?

They did what they had to, she was designed as a support but became a solo lane, then a top lane bully with super high utility.

Given as I was a Lulu main most of season 4, she got quite a few nerfs and some other supports got buffed. Supports such as Nami and Leona outscale her. She is good for poke, morphing an enemy champion (which many suck at saving their w for the enemy, and only use it to run away it seems), and shielding, but I feel the last few times I played her, she doesn't scale well next to the others. However, if you have a Yasuo on your team, her and Nami work beautifully. Just my two cents. :/

I still have great success with her top, mid, and support. She still lane bullies top, and she is and will always be a good counter for kat/akali (start abyssal and chalice and they'll pretty much never catch up to you in lane), and she works really well with and against a lot of botlanes. I think she's just not Fotm anymore because she doesn't do a ridiculous amount of damage and so a lot of people stopped playing her
