you get more atk speed from passive + ardent which = more resets which = more ardent you get on hit damage from passive + ardent which = more damage you get stats too

That's what I was thinking, but throwing away a tanky slot for a wimpy enchanting slot that gives no bulk rustles my jim jams. I'll stick with Fervor/IBG/Mask

you scale with ap you scale with attack speed you scale with on hit magic damage you scale with enchanting looooooool now it gives you those stats haha!
