I dont do ranked but after seeing people complian about team members so much...
Why don't they limit what an individual can play in ranked based on their previous experience and proficiency on a champion? Unless someone has played a number of champions and did well on them I don't understand why they would even care about rank to begin with. So this should only effect the convenience of the careless, smurfs, and trolls. If I ever was going to do ranked I would be sure to be experienced and confident in at least 10 champions... two from each role. I understand such restriction could bar people from the game mode, but when you think about it this would be absolutely appropriate. It's an extra competitive area of the game and not being able to play it doesn't keep you from playing league, it just stop players from being able to get borders that should be irrelevant to those who prove incapable of fulfilling what already can and does happen anyway... that being auto fills and having their champion banned. Only thing I can think of that would logically go against such standards would be a desire from riot to have as many people pay ranked as possible to inflate what they can statistically consider their "competitive player base". EDIT: Well riot and the same people complaining about their team members lacking in unfamiliar circumstances as they too are people onetricking a role or even just a champion. Yes, such hypocrites might also take issue to a demanding minimum standard to play.
