How Does Vision Score Work?

Makes 0 sense. I placed more wards, placed more control wards, and destroyed the same wards as the swain yet he got better vision score?

From my understanding, the score factors in how many of those wards were of active use, as in spotted the enemy. Spam warding is not going to help the score. (Not that you are, just a note to those that like inflating scores by spamming fountain with sightstone) It's about strategically placing wards where you think the enemy will travel through. Vision is about gathering intelligence for your team.

So basically I can just place a ward in the middle of a 5v5 and get 5 points.

It's a theory you could definitely test out. No one has exactly defined the full parameters yet. Would be interesting to see if it inflates your score.
