As an Anivia Main, I'm heartbroken...

So after playing hundreds of hours playing Anivia. This new change to her E finally made me want to quit her...Anivia was the champion that was Slow, Squishy, No Mobility, but if you got in her face, she gave you a reason to think twice. But now with the new changes to her E, now we're being forced to either land the Q (which is slower then most projectiles in the class of mages) to deal big damage. Or give the opponent 1.5 seconds to dash away before we can trade well. Allowing other mages to have time to get out of the danger zone of her. Am I saying it's a bad thing to give the opponents time to react? Not really, but there needs to be a way that Anivia can exist in the league of Dashes. I believe that giving Anivia's Ult a "Ground"! Just like how Cassiopia's poison grounds people from dashing, would be an extremely good idea. That'll help so much! They can even say something like "The glacial storm freeze enemies movement, keeping them tight to the ground". But i feel that would be really good buff to her /ultimate/ ability. What are your guys opinions. And for you Anivia mains, what are your thoughts on the changes to her E? Am I being a crybaby or do you guys feel that this nerf to her E was a bit harsh?

TL;DR -- The effort vs reward isn't balanced enough for me to want to main Anivia anymore.

A lot Anivia players are including myself, the supposed buff is not enough to compensate for the weaknesses they left behind for Anivia,

Problem is that she was extremely anti-fun, hard to counterplay, and all with little skill floor. Please look at the highlight clips of Anivia in s6 summer split. There are at least 3 clips where an Anivia would Flash -> E -> R on an ADC and the ADC would flash near instantly but still die because there is no human way to react to it. The champ has somewhat of a skill ceiling because of the use of her w and q, but that's where it ends. If you're so torn about your champ being nerfed, in preseason mind you, then play Aurelion Sol, as he's just better than her in every single way and has somewhat similar skill sets.

Honestly, she's going to be terrible now, but she's just getting the pre-rework Veigar treatment.

It's terrible how insecure anivia damage has become.

I feel like I can't do shit against a mobile laner anymore since he has to be AFK to actually stand 1,5seconds inside this terrible Ult radius before I can do serious damage. Every trade resolves around you hitting the Q stun (which is in itself a difficult task) and is lost immediately if you don't. All that combined with ridiculous high mana costs. Meanwhile certain other champs are allowed to continue to exists in their current form.

I'm especially looking at you, Syndra. Same problem, just easier stuns, lower manacosts, more dps and more utility with a high damage click to delete.
