Sylas Stole My ULT When I Was lvl 5 and Had No ULT

Talk about oversimplifying the game... Not having your ult should count like it being on cooldown. An extremely tactical ult that you cast on whenever on whoever bc any ult is better than no ult. Cater to good players, adding awesome things they can add to their compositions and win conditions, and not overloaded kits that will just be exploited and make the game dumb.

It does,

He can also steal your ult while it's on CD, he only can't steal it again for the time double your base Ult CD (shortened by his CDR, but not by yours.) He also casts the ult with his Ult level, meaning he can cast your Ult as it would be on lvl2 if he is lvl11 even if you are not, and the other way around.

It seems you are implying his design was poor, which I agree with.

Since the Ult is a major weapon shouldn't it be the primary function of his existence? He has a lot of other things going on to be able to just ult whoever whenever bc some ult is better than no ult. Pull, knockup, and that Ult is the kit of a tank. His poke should be a harrass so he can somewhat lane like a Malphite, Cho, or Mundo Q. The heal is awful. The more he is played the worse the effect it will have on the game. Zed and Kassadin dont run around doing everything they get gold and do damage. Damage in itself is a tool. Riot doesnt know what they are doing anymore and really should stick to using DoTA champs as frameworks they can start with. How much a champ is played does not reflect its positive effect on the game.

He isn't poorly designed, just the heal is too strong and because he has a heal he shouldn't have a shield on top of that.

The Ult is fine the way it is. He shouldn't be punished if an enemy plays worse than him and not be rewarded if an enemy is outperforming him. That's why it works the way it does.

I understand your point of view. But you should grasp that over and under-preforming among competent players most of the time has to do with the kit at their disposal. The more tools you have, the more preforming you can literally do, so logically you will out-preform those who don't posses those traits. Kog can carry hard as we all know, and he does not do a heck of a lot else; as with most carries whether melee or ranged. Sylas can carry....

Cheers on your solid reply.

Why though? He reached level 6 before you, so why should his ult be held back, just because you have not earned yours yet?

Because playing poorly should be rewarded with feeling good when the enemy has Sylas.

Why?? Because he has all the tools to get ahead of you. He has ranged poke, pull, knockup, and heal all to use to get ahead of you. In a MOBA everything has a price. If he has all the tools he should not get more rewards he should get weaknesses to exploit elsewhere. Ekko can build around E/Q burst or making bigger plays with his W one comes at a cost to the other.

Who were you playing as, when you encountered that?

LOL

Low range poke, skillshot knockup that can be dodged or simplz avoided by any minion, heal that only works in the 200 range or whatever that it has.

Stop bsing yourself.

Sylas was made for bad players and will be exploited by good players. Giving champs that can do carry damage a bunch of extra tools will always have that result. While champs that just carry can be buffed/nerfed as needed so they don't do too much for too cheap or vice versa. In MOBAs every champ is part of a composition. Where a group of 5 champs will usually include damage, various damage enabling tools (teamfight), and lane presence; when single champs bleed into all parts of team composition the game quality deteriorates. And it is also harder for average/bad players to get better bc being able to do everything encourages doing everything without taking into consideration various moment-by-moment factors.

I had one match during which we got destroyed by Sylas. He kept stealing my ult, and since his mobility is astounding, we got trashed. I played Morgana.

But, that's the only game he was able to beat my team.

That is great input. But think beyond yourself into the multitude of possible scenarios in the game. Forming opinions are best when they are constructed using a lot of info not just personal stuff. Like is Sylas's good use of any and every ult a good thing? Should there be a such thing as a Sylas player being punished for taking a bad ult, like not getting enough tank if he is taking engage ults? Should the ults he wants to take dictate how he should build?

I base my opinion on what i experienced myself. It's that simple.
