This isn't a very big problem but whenever I play Draven and I throw an axe, at rare times, the circle that shows where the axe will fall would be right on top of a minion and I can never catch those axes because whenever I right click to move there, the game thinks that I want to attack that minion and I end up not moving over there but attacking the minions instead of catching my axe. Is there a solution or some strategy I can use in this situation?

Stand next to the minion or control better the general direction your axe is going to land. The pattern is random enough to ensure that you'll take skillshot harassment and some axes you just need to let drop and mentally budget your remaining mana better.
Wickedfates1 votesclick close to the minion and not on the minion, ur hitbox and the axe hitbox will overlap....
if this isnt working for you, click past the minion so that you travel in an imaginary straight line through the minion, as you enter the dropping axe hitbox use your stop button to catch the axe
