Kayle rune ideas now that Klepto is gone?

I mean klepto specifically, not the insight rune section.

That being said, Klepto/Insight made it easier to sustain and earn gold, but now that that's gone, Kayle is even more vulnerable early game.

There are a number of strategies that can still be employed with her but she needs to be even more careful than before. If you take inspiration for a runepage, or at least for the pots, I'd wager it best fits as second page. Though glacial augment can work too. I wouldn't think that Omnistone would work because there are a number of major rune augments that don't work too well with her I think.

The attack speed rune page can work I imagine, lethal tempo goes great, as it did pre-rework, boosting AS along with Alacrity. Presence of mind can help tremendously because Kayle is super mana hungry early game, and that will help even if but a little. The second page could be domination if you wanna get a little extra healing with your gunblade, or sorcery because celerity will further boost your speed buff (lets be honest, it hasn't been a legitimate heal since season 4), and Scorch I think should help along with your increased AS.

I imagine you could also use minion dematerializer for inspiration to help with keeping the canon minions in check for the first few minutes.

I mean, would you use domination for your primary rune page? Hail of Blades could work I suppose but I imagine it'd be inferior to Lethal Tempo. Dark Harvest could work if you go more AP bursty, simply hitting your q onto anyone that's low over the course of the game can get your stacks pretty decent. A ludens echo with this can make your q REALLY HURT if you are good at aiming. (but that'd be ap burst kayle over standard Nashor's and Guinsoos).

Back to Precision, I imagine press the attack could work, giving the extra damage after your three strikes, which seems to be the most you'd want to trade unless your opponent really goes all in and misses everything, allowing you to punish greatly (lol...). Fleet footwork, maybe? But you're not really akali, you don't need to commit to every fight, so it could potentially work (unlick Lucien, fleet doesn't work on him I wouldn't think because he commits, and wouldn't make good use of it). Same with Phase Rush, but the benefit for Fleet Footwork is the added heal you get alongside your gunblade, and you can still take alacrity for AS bonus, cutdown, and Presence of mind.

Of course you could always take runes to focus on lowering the CD of your ulti. That could be useful too.

Anyway, so that's where I'm at. Trying to find an ideal path here, but there are so many different angles with her, I'm trying to think of the most effective one as a rearguard champ. Would love to know your thoughts. Do you think I analyzed pretty well, or am I completely wrong?

Lethal Tempo works out if you want to quickly build your exalted stacks and rageblade. However, you sacrifice power for it.

Press the Attack is reliable for weakening foes even further, on top of your Q. This, alongside Lethal tempo was the most common rune i've seen.

Conqueror is overall tempting rune for additional empowered attacks and sustain. However, I'm not sure if Kayle after lvl 6 technically counts as melee champion, thus having conqueror stack 2, instead of 1. If that's the case, conq becomes a bit slow.
