Ideas for GP mini rework

Hey there, Onwodori here.

INB4 Tidal Tyrant - hey bud, how are you? :O) Let me know what you think of my analysis of changes we could do for our boy.

ANYWAYS. The two big complaints about GP remain that he 'gets gold too easily and consistently' (Which I disagree about - we work hard to survive the early game) and that his barrels are 'the worst thing ever.' SO. A few potential changes might be:

Remove the gold generation from GP's Q entirely and: --> Give him more SS --> Give SS more uses --> Give a new passive on Q to compensate for this removal of gold generation

Changing his E (Barrels): --> Take away the armor ignore and instead give him higher flat numbers / scaling (This way he'll blow up squishes, as is his Nagakayboros given right, and not chunk tanks) --> If you want to reduce the slow the barrels have, you *need to give him something in return, either innate additional survival or mobility.

Ideas for new passives:

King of Bilgewater: Gangplank passively marks objectives, be it camps to steal or enemies to kill, and sets out to prove he can accomplish these feats. Doing so will give him bonus BASE attack damage from the respect and fear he generates. Obviously the combines with Sheen extremely well.

'Sup :^)

I'm on the phone, trying to fall asleep so I'll keep this kinda short.

The first suggestion sounds good to me. The second one would probably break him, and make him some sort of buffed up 1000 range syndra lol, the %armor ignore is kinda mandatory for his game health, for the same reason kleds w is % damage.

The third one.... not even that bad of an idea, but it has some serious overlap with kindred. And why fix what ain't broken trial by fire is fine!

I'll still upvote for the first one though

I meant it as a new passive in additional to Trial - so he can spend the game farming but also taking breaks from that to put people in the dirt and 'regain control of bilgewater and his reputation'

Eh... I'd rather not have my squishy ass baited into invading the enemy jungle and dying for it :P

so give him kindred's passive?

I think the only change they really need to make is stop his q from proccing bandit as a melee attack.
