Disruption Icon Box Question

Quick question on some of the PROJECT loot stuff.

So I got the 1500 IP and bought the Disruption Icon box from the shop. Inside was a PROJECT Leona blueprint thing. I had the 11 Project Cores to turn the blueprint into a shard - specifically it called it an "Epic Skin Shard". I would guess this is because it's a 1350 skin but I'm not positive. I had plenty of orange essence so I unlocked the shard as a skin permanent...

...and now I have a PROJECT Leona "Epic Skin Permanent" sitting in my "Skins Loot" section.

It says that I own it, and I checked Leona's entry on my profile and it says that I own that skin. But why is the skin permanent still sitting in the Hextech menu instead of going away like other skin permanents, and why can I still disenchant it or reroll it? Are the PROJECT skins obtained this way only temporary? It would kinda suck after I put that much orange essence into it.

Did you already own the skin before?

If not then it might be an error in the shard not processing. Might just try unlocking the Permanent

It should've automatically used the shard unless you already owned the skin. One way or another, you should definitely own the skin now; it's not temporary. Try a custom game and see if you can select the skin now. If you can't, then go back to your Hextech Inventory, try to redeem the skin there, and try it again.
