It feels really bad to miss CS from timing the auto too late from not accounting for the passive, which slows down the autoattack animation. If that is an intended weakness, can we at least make the attack frame the same, and lock Maokai into healing animation after doing the auto damage?
Remove his passive. Fixed.
Yeah I miss building sheen items on Maokai. Currently you can't because his passive auto is so slow. Pre-rework, iceborn was almost core on him.
if we could nerf Maokai before buffing him, then yes :\
hahah you speak the truth. But as someone who has played a lot of Maokai, you get use to looking to see when its ready.
Basically i just adjust my cs pattern to when the heal is ready, i just make sure i can reach the minion in time for the animation.
Yeah, having the damage occur on the backswing is weird to say the least.
The heal should still be on the backswing, but the damage should def happen when Maokai's punch connects.
Same with Ekko. His E and 3rd hit on passive have such obnoxious wind ups on the auto attacks it makes it very annoying for them to get cancelled especially since you are GENERALLY last hitting with the 3rd hit on passive anyway due to Q double hit.
Sure if Jhin can get the same treatment.
I've come across a lot of occurances where Jhin goes, "Four.. Four! Four.. FOUR!!" accompanied by a clink-cli-cli-clink-clink when he winds up his 4th shot on a dying unit.

for a while i was considering getting maokai for a while, however after A: finding him in a video on the top-something easiest champions and feeling embarrased because of that and B: Playing against him once, getting actually sad because it WAS FUKING HELL. Think i might save up for him again, start saving up at least.
