why is rammus q still considered a channeled ability

ccing a charging rammus already shuts him down, why does he just get thrown out of powerball now as well? i really dont get the logic.

while rammus q can be interrupted by cc, here's a list of things that can't: Ezreal ult Janna q (tornado can still charge while cc'd) Kennen E Kled ult Lux ult Hecarim E

hec and kennen E function very similarly, yet they can keep going after getting cc'd if the cc is short enough. why does rammus have to suffer? the tank, with very little damage, while the mage and burst horse dont?

they changed it into a channel to add counterplay to him so he cant just run at you and kill you without thinking about dodging

Because otherwise there's no fucking way to stop a Rammus from running at you.

hec and kennen E function very similarly, yet they can keep going after getting cc'd if the cc is short enough.

This isn't justification for Rammus's Q not being a channel, this is justification for making Hecarim and Kennen's E's be a channel.

Also, Rammus's Q lasts 7 seconds, which is significantly longer than Hecarim or Kennen's E's.

kled's ult is unstoppable, don't speak of it as a non-channeled ability you uncultured swine

Janna Q isn't a channel. It's basically an ability that is placed and charges. When the Q is placed it's a separate entity from Janna, to be fair. Also Hecarim's E can be stopped, the auto attack enhance can't, because like Bullshit Renekton W, enhanced autos go through even while you're CCed. Lux ult also isn't a channel.

Channels are abilities where you have to sit still and do nothing while waiting for the ability to complete(and they have progress bars). Lux ult is close-ish to a channel because it takes a decent amount of time to go off, but it's not a channel.
