Champions don't remain in the top spots for long. Adjustments are constantly made that tip the scales in favor of other champions. Prior to pre-season, Vayne was the hottest ADC in game, but her base AD was nerfed and then she was left in the dust as other ADC's received their reworks, placing Graves and MF above her in terms of popularity, success, and competitive play.
