Gnar with phantom dancer.
How stupid is this? I've seen a couple of gnars building it recently and am really confused.

to each their own. i dont see gnar needing crit or attack speed cuz you have too much as you are gonna proc mega gnar at wrong times . that is the whole key to being a master of gnar is how to control your rage and when to get it to transform into mega for engages and teamfights.
yeah ok. I was just wondering because it seems to be a new thing and it was bothering me.

i mean for a 1 vs 1 duel you will take reduced damage have the movment speed passive through minions and if you can proc your mega gnar in that 1 vs1 engage i can see maybe they are trying to 1 vs 1 but the point of gnar is for his safe lane phase and strong team fights. not to be a 1 vs 1 dueler
I talked with a gnar main a couple days ago (plat elo)
Basically gnar has many playstyles. He goes from dueler to a vanguard which is very unique, which lets him builds differently according to the player.
There is AP duelist gnar top,
(troll lol)
There is on hit gnar jungle tank destroyer,
Theres bruiser gnar (most popular),
and theres tank vanguard gnar,
(the phantom dancer, only bought out of lane, is to proc your megagnar as fast as possible so you can be a tankier tank for your team
These builds can also mix and match, so theres so many builds that there is no "set" build that gnar can only build every game. What really matters is if it's normals or what the enemy team is
Ap gnar goes hard in the paint
