I'm sorry, you call this an artwork update to some of his "pictures"?
And in regards to lack of counterplay, Mord has little to no counterplay other than hopefully getting ahead in lane against him and stacking all your CC on him. It doesn't matter if you stack MR again him late game because he will just stack some CDR and keep his shield up almost 100% of the time, and if you have enough damage to break through his spellvamp and shield, then you will probably get 2 hit by him anyways.
Gp has as much more counterplay compared to someone like morde because at least GP only has one ranged ability (other than his ult), therefore if you CC him and kite him, you have a good chance of killing him.
I can't argue whether or not GP is underpowered or not, but i personally feel he isn't. I like to think of GP as a Yi that can effectively kite melee attackers, not to mention 1-2 shot carries late game after he has a tri+IE. I can argue though, that GP is probably one of the least champions in need of any changes. Maybe he needs an upgrade to his kit, maybe he doesn't, but he sure as hell doesn't need any artwork changes.
