Riposte is an outplay ability, it's perfect the way it is. What you're proposing is so drastic. She's supposed to be an oppressive duelist. I've played against so many Fioras since the rework, and I honestly think 9 out of 10 people just don't know how to play against Fiora. I play mostly normals, but in a few of my ranked games Fiora slipped past the banning phase. When I face a Fiora I can usually tell that they are not used to being punished for taking risks. I've also seen people ask who to pick or what to build against her. We're 3 months out from her rework, and this is incredibly common. Don't let bans cripple you.
She's not that kind of champion anymore. You can beat her with almost any top lane champion, and using your normal build. Bring your A game against her, and don't rely on builds or champions you think will counter her. One of you is going to win, and it won't be based on who built what or who is who. It will be based on who has the better timing, positioning, and CS down. The deciding factor will be which one of you has more experience and makes the better calls. She does have trouble against lane bullies, but a good Fiora can outplay them.
Lunge could use a mana increase cost to tighten up her early game. A lot of Fioras have more success building tankier in games. I do see a lot taking Guardian Angel, Streakers Gage, and Spirit Visage with tenacity boots.
I personally do build like a glass cannon exactly. I like to stress lifesteal, mobility, and cooldown reduction.
I also take TP with ignite.
It comes with it's downsides, but I'm used to the all or nothing Fiora from the old days. I don't snowball nearly as hard, but I notice that there is much more stability. If i get pushed under my turret during the laning phase, I am capable of making comebacks. The old Fiora was also way more mobile. All of these were necessary trade ins.
I think she's oppressive, but not nearly as much as the old fed Fiora, and certainly not as much as the last few remaining threads on here make her out to be.
