Now that dominion is being retired what about Twisted treeline?

I mean the reasoning I've read for dominion was that ti was to divergent/different from "core" league but that doesn't really seem to be the case with treeline, all the roles exist in the map (granted jg is weaker) but i feel like twisted treeline has a much better shot at being "saved" then dominion. literally the only reason I don't play it anymore (literally was my map ill lvl 30) was because there wasn't a solo ranked mode and even most recently it doesn't even grant champion mastery.

I feel like with this dominion announcement Riot's sorta given themselves this ultimatum for twisted treeline (sense unfortunately it also struggles with rampant bots and a relatively small player base.) They can either improve it and bring it up to par, or they can discontinue it, they've clearly put them selves into a position where they aren't allowed to "just leave it be" since they seem to want to free their resources up unless their going to double down on it.

There a sound and reasonable arguments for why dominion had to go, but those don't apply to twisted treelines situation even if they are in similar states. Treeline has only a few specific balance changes managed to stay balanced so it probably isn't that different from it, it' a fun little "mini rift" with a few nice spins on the concept and I honestly think it CAN be saved, it's WORTH saving. I think riot at least has some similar feelings else this would be a double announcement...

The obvious and relatively easy first step would be to introduce champ mastery into 3v3. After that they could possibly try implementing some sort of non team ranked system, heck even announce a double IP weekend (or week) for games of 3v3 whenever one, or both of these features is released. Those are at least my preliminary ideas, and maybe a shouldn't get a say since I turned my back on 3v3 for so long, but I took my first steps on THOSE fields of justice, not the rift, and I honestly never would've left if riot supported it HALF as much as they did the rift...

What are your thought guys?

btw have a crazy day! Shaco Jinx Jhin sincerely, a concerned former 3v3 player, and devout ShacoxJinx shipper
