Why Old Urf is better

ARURF is Fun and all but not satisfying as old urf, not because u can choose who u want to play but since u can choose who u DON'T want to play against, eventually your forced to play vs one of the op meta urf champs like Fiora, Fizz, Zed, Trynd, Maokai, Garen, Malzahar, Hecarim, Graves, Sona, Galio, Evelynn, Jayce, Lulu, Jax, Ezreal, and Wukong. i personally really dislike getting a champ i sometimes play on ARURF and then i see a meta champ on the enemy team side, they eventually get fed and im just being tower dived hoping to have fun but ARURF still hasnt solved the meta champ, yes i know now people cant always pick the op champs but the problem is people getting 1 or more op champs on their team, Aram can be unfair itself at times, giving one team high range poke while the other is melee or lower ranged, or giving one side a tank and the other side squishies, ARUrf is No Different, if one side has an op meta champ while the other has decent champs, the meta side has a higher advantage seeming that their champs can abuse urf better than the others team, honestly i really wanted to try different champs this urf but since i cant ban anyone in Arurf, the other team usually has an op champ when i have an underrated but yet still weak champion compared to what they have. For example, i got caitlyn and i love building lethality on her, but the enemy team has a Fiora or Ezreal, or Fizz who can dodge everything i throw at them, its hard to power up when your being outclassed in lane, in old urf u can simply ban the champs u dont want to be facing and still have a good time since your playing the champ you want to, old urf gave u a sense of "This is Fine Its Urf right?" but in ARURF u get a sense of "damn, i dont even know what to do with this" oh and dont forget that the free to play champions have more urf time than the rest of other champs.

I think adding more bans to urf would be a better idea seeming everyone can be happy, it means less op champs to worry about and more underrated champions to play. i really want to play Ap ashe, Lethality Caitlyn, Perma snare Lux and Morg, Hook City, thresh, Blitz and Naut, and many more comps that you rarely get to do in Arurf.

id rather pick what i want to have fun on than be relegated to a 4th game of ivern or draven because its what riot decided i should play.

i want to play twitch jungle and just velkoz geometry op, but here i am, being forced onto champs i have no business playing like fizz or khazix.

also dodges OP. heres a new random champ anyway.

bans > random

ARURF just means this team got 4 op picks and the other team only got 1. guess which team won because no1 wanted a ban? guess which team dodged before the match started because they didn't want to play crabgod?

Played 29 games this weekend and never had the same champ twice. Build your champ pool and learn to play other champs and this will never be a problem. Want to be stubborn then deal with playing the same champ over and over. It's that simple. ARURF is one of the best things RIOT did to change the game. Makes for more fun instead of seeing the same damn broken even for URF champs all the time.

its not because we dont know how to play he champ, its because we dont enjoy the champ, some people arent so lucky with the random factor in arurf and its is not as much fun for them. i played Less Aram once i felt like the teams were quite unbalanced and one team would have a better advantage than the other. The problem in this urf is that the op champs will have a better advantage then the rest of the other champs most of the time and their is no banning system so that you can ban the ones you don't want to face.

That's the way it is though. And you go into the mode knowing full well that this is how it is. Yet both ARAM and ARURF are the most played modes when looking at the low que times when looking for a game. They are fun and it works the way it is. There are many champs I didn't like until I played them and found out how fun they actually are. Many enjoy it the way it is as evidenced by the low que times. I never had to wait more than 5 seconds this weekend to get a game. There is absolutely no reason for RIOT to change this to satisfy what I can only think of as self serving suggestions. It works, leave it alone.

I already know its random but the thing is its the only version of Urf available atm, if Urf was available to choose between the 2 i would not be playing Arurf. when i play Arurf i depend on luck to get a champ i enjoy and luckily i got my main 6 times, but my friend however isnt so lucky and hasn't gotten to play her main once yet, which is why i prefer old urf, im not thinking about myself im also thinking of others who aren't experiencing the best of urf for them, Old urf may have been stagnate but at least u knew could choose who you didn't want to play vs and choose who you will enjoy most, or what kind of team composition would be the most fun to do. of course you would play your favorite champion the most, but adding more bans to urf would decrease the issues, all game modes have problems that we can't fix forever like Poroking where poke based champions excel and u cant do much if the poke team banned yasuo or the high mobility champs. Bannign the majority of the op champs in urf would make it more balanced for both sides meaning that they can choose their ideal champion to play in urf without having to deal with the tryhard picks.

All this tells me is that you are all about you even though everyone goes through the same stuff the more they play. Like I said in one of my comments. I smelled self satisfying behavior. Play it as is which is great for the majority or don't play it. It's really that simple.

but thats exactly what old urf was like.

you either expected to play something OP or you got to laugh while you lost the game.

you expected to see OP champs every game.

but here we are "for the sake of balance" ARURF removed choosing OP champs. unfortunately it still hasn't unlocked all champs for all players for the sake of being balanced. champion pools limit what you can play giving aram accounts who only buy poke champs an innate advantage because they'll never get something they're uncomfortable with and they will always find themselves on a favorable champion.

i have masteries for over 50 champs and at least 1 skin for them(i only buy skins for champs i enjoy to play), im pretty sure i have a wide champion pool.

Old URF also had ban, they could've just increased the total bans to 10 and get maybe some useful data for the 10 bans in ranked.
