Edit: I'm not entirely sure why this has been getting downvoted as I was just curious and wanted some thought out answers or disagreements, but thanks to everyone for their posts! I started playing only a few months ago and all 3 have felt similar in their roles in game.

Fizz performs better yet Zed is banned FAR more often.

I mean, he uses shadows and all, so I feel he is more popular than a kid who throws a disc at you and has this delayed stun and this weird fish yordle. But no, the most hated one is teemo. People hate him so much that they don't play him, so they have no need to ban.

Dehitay1 votesZed is a manaless champion who can spam his skills to simultaneously free farm an poke you without any consequence. Whenever Zed commits to a kill, he's not committing his safety, just his damage. When Fizz goes all in, he ends up "in" and can't get out if he used his troll pole to do the damage. Zed on the other hand just goes in, dishes out all his damage in a second, and gets back out without worry of retaliation. Fizz has to choose intelligent times to attack a squishy target cause punishment is possible. Zed just has to have his ult up and remember to hit R again when he's done.
Comparing Zed and Ekko is a bit weird. While they were both designed to be assassins, Ekko has become an AP bruiser and can no longer be compared to Zed directly with assassin reasoning.

Ballet1 votesZed is probably more hated because of his escape, although fizz has a pretty good escape as well (e), same as Ekko. I honestly feel like at this point Fizz is hated more than Zed, I don't really ban Zed, I much rather ban Fizz over him.
