Do you have a code of honor when playing ranked?

I just started ranked (3-1 so far!), And I was just wondering about the culture of ranked community.

Is anything that'll help your team win fine? Or is there some sort of a code of honor?

My "code of honor" in ranked is:

Don't be a jerk.

Try to win.

That's about it.

Is ganking a tilted enemy repeatedly against the "don't be a jerk?"

Nope, it is trying to win.

Follow these 3 rules and you'll be fine:

  1. Mute anyone that says a single thing that you either don't like or don't agree with.
  2. If you are doing bad at all just "/mute all" and work on getting back into the game.
  3. Don't bother telling anyone they are bad when they are doing bad. Don't even try to help them out by giving them tips or advice. In fact, don't even help them at all, ignore them completely and treat them as if they were an intermediate bot that wandered into your game. You don't win games by getting baddies back into the game, you win games by helping good players snowball. Ranked wins are rarely decided based on who has the better overall team, it comes down to who has the bigger carries.

Don't kill a purposeful feeder.

If you make a mistake, call yourself on it before someone scummy on your team does, they might tilt less hard

I do this in normals already!

My code of winning

''Screw your Team, let them know they're bad''

''Go Gatez''

''Win''

take up jungler. ranked is all about map pressure and when you're the jungler, you can pretty much rally your allies to do whatever take towers, buffs, dragons, herald, baron, etc.

"Stay silent" "kill the enemy" "Don't show weakness"

-Is someone saying something which may potentially tilt me? Mute them right away. -Don't flame in chat - it will just run the risk of tilting my allies, regardless of whether the criticism is legit or not. Keep most of my chat content related to in-game on goings. -Compliment others when they perform well. Admit my mistakes when I mess up.

Code of honor? Lol. I guess for me they are: never surrender

use a champ that's in the meta

be modest; dont bm so much

use the mute button

Play the champ you know by heart

always end the game with a gg, ggwp, bg, and mom's spaghetti

Don't threaten to AFK. Don't AFK.

The meta changes depending on the ELO. I think there's slightly more salt content than normals / aram.
