does vi work on any team?

it just seems like everything she does gets thoroughly outclassed by someone else. playing her for the damage? she's not sticky enough, pick yi. playing her for the cc? it's single-target, pick malphite. playing her for damage and cc at the same time? you could've just picked wukong.

i've messed around with a few builds, and it really just seems like everything she can do there's another champion that can do it better. do people pick her for her build diversity or something?

help me out here people, she seems like an irredeemable champion.

She's possibly one of the best jungle picks you could choose. Her free damage boost and attack speed from W, her AA cancel + AoE damage buff from E, and her insane burst and wave clear from Q > AA > E just makes her a terror to be against. Not to mention her passive just makes her significantly more tanky as the game goes on.

How are you building her? If you're doing something stupid I could understand why you feel she's outclassed.

no. my vi is the true DEMON vi. ;) Vi is honestly my fav jungler lol. she's tanks, she has so much cc, unavoidable ult and a %max hp physical dmg passive which also grants her attack speed. wooo

Vi is great if the enemy team has a very mobile adc (kalista vayne) and you need to lock them down. She has a flexible build path and she can either burst squishy champs or set up team fights. She loses to Tahm Kench in any role. She is not a good choice for blind picking, but she certainly has her place.

She fits into teams that have a strong follow up. Vi is a jungle that's very independent, and doesn't really need a team to do what she does. She is INCREDIBLY bursty if you build her right, INCREDIBLY tanky, and has an awesome personality.

I usually take Vi if I don't trust my team to follow up on my ganks. :P

Unlike Yi, she doesn't die immediately, and can be plenty sticky if you save Q and R, and build Randuin's.

Unlike Mal, she has high damage in AoE, is a lot more mobile, and has an up to date model.

Unlike Wu, her CC isn't avoidable as easy, and can't be countered by a pink ward -- and she's a lot more fun to play.

She does get outclassed by everything. Why do you think the casters roasted china for picking her at worlds?
