how to play jhin?

I mained him pretty long time , played lot of bot and draft games but i didn't get smarter because of that. How to play as jhin if out there is twitch/draven/ashe/caitlyn/kaisa or enemy jungler????

simple answer? : you don't.

As soon as you load in the game and pick jhin in the champ select while on adc you are announcing everybody : hurr dud durr im smarter than you and you cannot catch me. Everybody then come botlane and make you regret your decision and go back to adc with an actual escape. Im writing it as forever jhin main , desperately trying to find how to not get b00mked by any enemy adc , ive tried special anti-death runes but they dont feel as fun to play as actual fleet , what to do.

How am i supposed to survive all that if i need 2 very expensive items (AT LEAST) before G A to actually be usefull? Nowday its midgame meta and jhin scales into lategame , here,s the issue.

Any tips how to play jhin so i can win?

Jhin has a few ways to get out of bad spots:

  1. Crit MS: Whenever Jhin crits, he gets a boost of MS which scales off of his AS. Build Rapidfire cannon and the like to help boost your escape capabilities. Saving the fourth shot in lane for as long as possible helps.
  2. W Root: Auto attacks and allied attacks also mark enemies. If your support throws back some CC, don’t forget to follow up with a w for a ms boost in addition to a root.
  3. Save a trap: Jhin E is a powerful slowing effect. Threatening the enemy divers by planting one at your feet can either deter them or secure a revenge kill.
  4. Get Stopwatch: Stopwatch is free with the help of runes and completely stops the burst of skillshot reliant champions like Zed, and can prevent AA damage mid flight.
  5. Heal Prematurely: Use your heal before getting ignited, or switch out heal for Barrier.
  6. Early Armor/Mr: Dropping gold on defensive boots can prevent a decent amount of damage. Remember that staying alive means more damage.
  7. Pick anti-dive supports: Have your support pick someone like Janna who is great at denying kills to enemy assassins.

Other tips:

  1. Jhin deals more damage the lower someone’s health is. Don’t overextend to attack the enemy mid laner. Instead focus on whoever is closest and stay ALWAYS on the outskirts of a fight. When the low health squishies try to kill you, you will be prepared with a 4th shot.
  2. Max W. Many people max Q, but if you are worried about a jg gank, max W instead. It gives you greater escape potential and makes Q push the wave less. In worst case scenarios it also allows you to farm from far away.
  3. Mix up your runes. Having trouble with poke? Go for Fleet Footwork. Want to capitalize on low health enemies? Go for Dark Harvest. Need better kiting potential? Go for Hail of Blades.
