Can Heimer get some love?

I haven't seen a Heimer in so long and whenever I do ser a Heimer, it ends up being a 4v5. Heimer suffers in this meta and suffers from many champions that counter and scale way better. Like honestly, take champions like Zyra and Azir and think to yourself "Why would I pick Heimer over these two?". Heimer does no damage to tanks. Turrets are easily taken out, even when you spread them out. His cooldowns are long and if you miss them, you are just a cannon minion. His passive is so useless mid-late game and seems randomly placed on Heimer. Immobile and easy to gank with a smart jungler that carries a smite for his turret. Hell, Heisondong, who is a Heimer main that was challenger/masters, hates playing Heimer in the past 2 seasons because people have been countering him so hard and knowing how to play against Heimers. Why this champ did not receive changes for the low scopes in the mage update confuses me.

Unfortunately for you, nobody here likes Heimer. Every Heimer thread I've seen has gone through the same way.

"Don't buff that cancer champ"

"Heimer is op and counters melee"

"Heimer takes no skill. Braindead champ."

Not that I disagree, but a lot of people here will disagree with you.

I think his turrets are inherently gimped. When he's strong, you can't walk within 450 of him without taking extremely cheap and easy damage, and he pushes lanes harder than a Ziggs in urf. When he's strong, he's extremely safe: junglers don't want anywhere near him, and he can out-poke ranged and outright abuse melee champs. When he's weak, he's dreadfully so, with little damage and little mobility.

He needs to have his turrets extremely nerfed. Perhaps make them last for only a short time, with increased range and damage. Or replace the ability all together.

Also, his Passive is probably the single worst ability in League. It's just so bad.

I'm sorry but it's literally because his kit is complete cancer, it offer's no counterplay to the opponent because all he'll do is stand there and laugh at you from behind 3 turrets that literally almost do turret shots worth of damage. Sometimes just walking over there is enough to half health you and if they EVER buffed him to far, he'd probably become so broken they'd have to remove him from the game for awhile. Be glad he's still around because honestly he shouldn't be with the way his kit is.

I don't really know much about Heimer, I've just noticed that Heimer players like to build item 3512 + item 3060 and just become useless thinking they are the splitpushing kings. They never group and it's hard to coordinate with them. Why don't they just build traditionally?

A suggestion: maybe if his bomb was a more reliable skill shot (CC), he would be better.

I think damage creep has caused his turrets to die too easily, and he gets super punished if he doesn't have all 3 turrets. I think his damage is fine if he can get it off, but his turrets need to be harder to kill, not just dying to a secondary runaan bolt and a sunfire.

Heimerdinger's main weakness is that unlike every other champion in the game, he doesn't have a passive that helps him at all.

All it does is grant other champions and turrets 10-30 HP5 (2-6 health restored per second).

Heimer himself doesn't get anything from it, so it just serves as a reminder of his base stats.

It's like if Caitlyn's passive was that she had 650 range, instead of her headshots.

Maybe he had something that actually let him protect his turrets, you would be able to pick him without banking on the enemy being bad.

I'm totally down for buffs if it comes with an entire new kit.

Until then, no I'd rather not be 'outplayed' by someone putting down three pets and spamming /laugh while I struggle to last hit under tower all lane phase.

Why does a backline mage with no support capabilities have a PBAoE defensive passive?

Wouldn't something like that feel better on, I don't know, a tank who might give higher regen at lower HP or who might give a portion of their own regen out?

Wouldn't it feel better if Heimer's passive were something that identified him with his turrets or, alternatively, as having many gizmos (his skills get empowered on a rotation or something I dunno)? As anything but an HP5 aura passive?

Honestly, if he and Leona changed passives, they'd feel more conducive to the champion (after appropriate balance ofc).

Im pretty sure the last time heimer got buffed he was a god tier pick in every lane and even could jungle and then like 2 weeks later they nerfed him into the ground. There doesnt seem to be a middle ground with him because hes either always been absurdly powerful to the point he could solo any lane and even jungle or he was useless and used as a troll pick. Although if they rework his kit id be scared considering the absurdly op reworks they have been doing recently.

Heimer is boosted ape champion. I dont want to see the day that trash is buffed. Its annoying and strong as it is. Heimer can afk push 1 lane and get 300 cs and get their inhib tower by doing nothing all game except pushing. Hes AP tryndamere. Do you want tryndamere buffs?

Heimer doesn't see pro play which is sad because I always hope some team randomly pulls out the Heimer. Idc if they lose, i just want to see it. :O

he has to be made less cancer to deal with as melee before he gets buffed its near impossible to lane against him with a melee.

I am yet to see a champion that can outburst Upgraded Hextech Rocket Swarm. Imo they should completely rework his passive. Useless garbage that doesn't even fit him,not thematically not mechanically and not strategically. May as well give it to soraka.

I had some decent success with heim against tanks and the like in Gold elo with a tank aP build.

I used to build (in this order,) item 1056 item 3027 item 3116 item 3020 item 3089 , item 3165 and item 3151 , I would then go ahead and sell and get item 3135 .
