Hey Riot, what do you think about making Urgot melee with his rework?

You guys have mentioned that you never saw Urgot as a marksman, but in which category does Urgot fit then? If he is a Fighter in which sub-category does or should he fit? Juggernaut, Light Fighter or Diver? Making him melee would make a lot easier wouldn't it? It would also fit the Headmans Pride thing!

I think it would be interesting to see something similar to the character portrayed in the ekko trailer, but with more tank artillery based abilities. I understand that riot said that the character has nothing to do with urgot, but I am sure alot of us were thinking it.

Actually i like his little niche as a bruisy tanky marksman. Think graves minus the burst and plus more tankiness, maybe add some cc to him and he'll be a CC marksman kind of.

I always saw urgot as the ad equivilent to xerath. Living artillery.

Maybe make him something like the noxus version of Jayce... errr idk

I like his niche. Don't make him another generic melee.

Urgot is unique, making him a melee champ would kill his play-style. Seriously, a lot of people say they don't look Urgot as a marksman even when his whole kit it about harassing from a distance. Also if you don't like urgot then deal with it, nobody cares.

What I envision Urgot as is an Anti-Carry.

The titan's wait is soon to be revealed

Give me time. I promise nobody will be disappointed For the huntsman's pride is gone

The Augmented Titan shall soon rise to fruition...

And all shall flee

(And it keeps him ranged but also melee, you'll see)

Urgot seems to be an anti-carry caster fighter. Without range, he loses a reliable way to soak enemies in his passive

Neber really understood why hes a markmen when hes lore says he was a executioner

well, they would have to massively buff his stats to compensate and give him mobility, otherwise he'd change to 0% pick rate
